BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
Erica is the type of person you meet and feel an instant sense of calm. She is so easy going that I almost forgot I was working while taking these photos. When we were planning the session she mentioned that she wanted to take some photos that were a bit bold and then some that were on the beach. I asked her if she had any funky clothes she hasn’t had a chance to wear and she mentioned a pair of zebra pants I knew would look perfect in front of the old Patio restaurant. She completely trusted the process and we got so many amazing photos.
We then headed over to the beach where she wanted to recreate photos of her mom when she was her age at the beach. The photos had a faded, filmy, vintage aesthetic about them and I aimed to incorporate that in my editing and shooting style. Erica exudes such natural beauty and I am so glad I was able to capture that through my lens.
