When I got the call from Alex that he was ready to propose to Jolie I was beyond excited! I had done a few photoshoots with Jolie and Alex prior to this call so I knew exactly what Jolie imagined her proposal to look like. I told Alex I’d reach out to Jolie and ask her to model a couple’s photoshoot with a simple beachy aesthetic. She typically wears rings on nearly every finger and I even told her when it comes to jewelry to just keep it simple and less was more - that I needed these photos for my portfolio and wanted them to be relatable and accessible to a lot of different potential future clients.
On the way to the photoshoot Jolie was so upset and telling Alex that this was exactly what she wanted her proposal to look like but they had had multiple discussions that they were going to wait a while to get engaged. To her complete surprise (she literally wasn’t onto us AT ALL) Alex did propose! The adrenaline rush that comes with getting to capture a proposal is so worth it, especially when everything goes to plan.
